Sabbatical 2015 – Around the Great Lakes

Day Eighteen: Cleveland, Ohio

Nothing of interest to report on the drive. I stuck to the interstate, as I had told the proprietor of the B&B I was staying at that I would be there between three and four.

Cleveland has a lot of interesting places and things to do. Besides the obvious, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (which I’ve been to before), there are several museums and galleries to see, an outdoor market that I’m told is more of a European style than most farmer’s markets here, and of course several breweries. I didn’t visit quite all of them, but I did get to Platform, Brick and Barrel, Market Garden (great fish tacos!), before ending the night at Great Lakes.

The Arnold House, the B&B in which I stayed, was within walking distance of most of the breweries in town. It was a wonderful place to stay, and included a full breakfast cooked by the proprietor, Jim.
